Interline Travel Discounts are available from many cruise lines, tour operators, hotels, resorts, car rental companies and airlines and are available to commercial airline employees, retired employees of the airlines, spouses of the employees, normally the parents of the employee and sometimes the parents-in-law. Some vendors extend airline employee discounts to employees of cargo companies such as FedEx and UPS and CRS Companies such as Sabre, Amadeus, Worldspan and Apollo.
Interline Cruise Discounts are currently offered on over 25 cruise lines. From river cruises in the USA, Europe and Asia to cruises to Alaska, the Caribbean, Europe and pretty much anywhere in the world that you want to go.
One way you can tell if you are getting actual "interline" discounts is if you have to register to get access. Most vendors who offer airline employee discounts do not allow them to be advertised where the general public can see them or access them. So if you go to a site that claims to offer an airline employee discount but does not ask for proof of eligiibity then the rates offered may in fact not be the interline discount.
To secure your airline employee travel discount you need to contact one of the major interline travel agencies. Most are located in North America. The largest online interline website is at www.InterlineTravel.com. You will need a user name and password to enter the site.
There is no need to pay booking fees that some interline agenice chage! Shop around and be sure when you get a quote that includes any fees the agency might charge!
